Planning Commission

Commission Overview

The Fillmore Planning Commission is a seven-member board appointed by the Mayor and City Council. The Commission is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on land use and development proposals, including zoning changes, subdivisions, and site plans. The Commission also plays a key role in shaping the future growth and development of Fillmore by providing input on the General Plan and other long-term planning initiatives. The Commission meets regularly to discuss and vote on various planning and development issues, ensuring that the community’s interests are represented in the decision-making process. The Planning Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council.
