Committe Overview

The Fillmore City Celebrations Committee is responsible for planning and executing the annual Easter, 4th of July, and Christmas celebrations in Fillmore, Utah. The committee works closely with local businesses, community organizations, and volunteers to create memorable events that bring the community together.

Note: Additional members are appointed by the Chairman as necessary on an event by event basis.

Celebrations

Easter Celebration

Annual Easter celebration is held the Saturday before Easter at the Territorial Statehouse Park located at 50 West Capital Street, Fillmore, Utah.

  • Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt for ages 12-18, Friday night at the North Park (460 North Main Street)
  • Easter Egg Hunt for all ages, Saturday at the Territorial Statehouse Park

4th of July

Annual Independence Day (4th of July) celebration is held on the 4th of July unless that day is Sunday, then it is held the Saturday before.

  • Parade on Main Street and Center Street
  • Food and games at the Territorial Statehouse Park
  • Fireworks near the Baseball fields (400 West and Center Street)

Christmas

Annual Christmas celebration at the Territorial Statehouse Park on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.

  • Christmas Lighting Displays
  • Local Business Displays
  • Music and hot chocolate
  • Santa Clause at the School House and Old Cabin House
